Mysteries of life

Plate tectonics is the theory that attempts to explain the movement of Earth’s Lithosphere. In 1912, the theory of continental drift by Alfred Wegener was that the continents were all one big continent called Pangaea and among time they moved slowly to separate. Things like volcanoes, Earthquakes, mountains, and trenches are all results of movement along plate boundaries. There are three types of boundaries, divergent boundary, in which plates move apart and creates a new crust (magma from mantle), the convergent boundaries are where plates   move toward each other/ sometimes one plate goes under another, and transform boundaries are where plates slide horizontally and causes friction. Each boundary creates something. Each type of boundary causes a natural disaster. Convergent boundary creates mountain, an example is the Himalayan Mountains. Divergent boundary creates volcanoes, and transform boundary creates earthquakes; if it’s under the ocean it creates tsunami. I definitely agree with the theory of plate tectonics. As we know, every scientific theory has evidences.
First evidence is that if you look at the world map and move the east coast of South America and the West coast of Africa together, they fit like puzzle pieces.
Second evidence is the Fossil similarities. Fossils of the same species of plants and animals were found in different parts of the world, specifically South America, Africa and India.
Third evidence is the sea floor spreading; the ocean floors are spreading away from mid-oceanic ridges, indicating that the ocean floor is moving.

I think that all these natural disasters are result of the mechanisms happening among plates. And all these are what make our nature a mystery!
